Research

I am interested in researching patterns in abundance, distribution, and diversity of stream fishes and understanding how changes in climate and land-use affect freshwater ecosystems from local to broad scales. To do so, I use a variety of publicly available data combined with computer programming and computational methods. I am also interested in the utility of infographic data visualization to enhance scientific literacy in public audiences
