The Breedlove, Dennis Fund supports undergraduate and graduate student botanical field experiences and has a rolling deadline. Awards can be used by students for fieldwork, supplies, food/lodging in the field, travel, or other costs directly related to their proposed research. Funds cannot be used for salary or/and stipends. Alternatively, awards can be used by faculty/graduate students applying to help support supplies, lodging, etc. needed by an undergraduate student joining them on a botanically-based fieldtrip.

Students must be an undergraduate Biology Major with an EEB Concentration or a graduate student in EEB. Annual maxima of $750 per undergraduate student and $1500 per graduate student will be awarded.

Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis on the 1st of every month and awards will be announced by the 15th of the month.
