Lynne and Bob Davis Herbarium Award
Awards are available to undergraduate students for research that focuses on plant natural history, taxonomy, and/or floristics. Applicants must be currently working under the supervision of a faculty member, graduate student, or postdoc affiliated with the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. Examples include observational studies in the field, phylogenetics, questions related to the geographic distribution of plant species, etc. Lynne and Bob Davis are avid and knowledgeable naturalists in the Knoxville area and have been volunteers at the UTK Herbarium since 2017.
